02 Arena Sold Out Claim: UK Newspaper Exposes Davido

Davido

A United Kingdom newspaper The Guardian has reported that DMW record label owner and singer, Davido, did not record a full capacity during his recent concert at the 02 Arena, London.

Highlighting how the Nigerian superstar arrested the attention of music lovers, the newspaper reported that the singer “nearly sold out the O2, a considerable leap toward the mainstream – and for Afrobeats itself.”

This is contradicting as the “Aye” crooner had claimed that he sold out the arena.

In a similar vein, an American rapper who performed at the show Russ Millions said it was not a sold-out concert, which was attended by Hollywood actor Idris Elba and super model Naomi Campbell.

According to the rapper, the 20k capacity arena only got 17k guests.

Davido had taken to his Instagram page to express appreciation to those who attended the event, adding that it was the best day of his life.

Zebra News gathered that the singer also went ahead to create the awareness that America will be his next stop.

Uploading a video of his entrance, Davido wrote: “Yesterday was the best day of my life …let me just leave this here for motivation! Thank you London 🇬🇧 tell America IM COMING!!!!!”
