Ambassador Oludare Adesope, the national President of OPC Reformed has advice all Nigerians home and abroad to prepare well for the perfect year in other to get good results.
In his New Year message, Adesope stated “To me, this year is a year of taking the bull by the horn. Let us all prepare to do something unique and task, we have many things ahead of us especially we the people of the South West, it’s an obvious thing that the unity of our elders has been shattered and there is no point hiding that fact but all we need to do is regrouping to get better results” Adesope affirmed.
Explaining further he narrated how other regions are busy strategizing their next move while South West is busy either fighting for superiority or teaming with other regions to pull their own people down ” It is high time we make our self-interest a secondary issue in our agenda and make collective interest primary because that is the only thing that can make our dream come through, let all forget every grievance we want to register with each other and embrace unity in other to reach our goal, when the fight for superiority over shadow our target, it is very sure we won’t be able to tell a good story”.
He also advised Yoruba kings to embrace unity to uplift Yoruba ” Most of our kings are now Facebook kings, they show their daily activities on Facebook where they allowed their subjects that are supposed to be respecting them to comment rudely on their posts, this is very annoying and some kings should retrace their steps as regards this, you can hardly see kabiesi Alaafin of Oyo on Facebook except on special festivals I will advise all Yoruba sons and daughters both home and abroad to team together in unity towards 2023 because this is the time we need to understand politics well. Let us rally round any Yoruba son presented for presidency and work for him to put him on that seat, let us work around our availability”
