After helping millions of internet users round the world to find, search and rank websites for two decades, Amazon has announced plans to shut down its sister company, Alexa.com.
In a statement posted on the official website. the Alexa team while describing the new development as a difficult one says the platform will be officially taken down May 1st, 2022. Below is their full statement;
We will be retiring Alexa.com on May 1, 2022
Twenty-five years ago, we founded Alexa Internet. After two decades of helping you find, reach, and convert your digital audience, we’ve made the difficult decision to retire Alexa.com on May 1, 2022.
