Bishop Idahosa to Host Doctor Nevers Mumba in Leadership Summit [Photos]

The need to pray for the nation is so imperative, Christians must always pray for the nation and their leaders. Leaders must be humble enough to learn because Leaders are Readers and Readers are Leaders. Having this in mind, Archbishop Designate Isaac Idahosa of Illumination Assembly, God First Ministries Int’l, a Crusader, a Compassionate Preacher, a Philanthropist and Humanitarian who has one of the fastest growing church and a leading pastor in Nigeria, called on Pastors, Ministers of God, Church Workers, etc to join in the Leadership Summit to be held at his church auditorium, Lekki Light Centre, Ajah Lagos at 11pm on Friday 21st February as Dr Nevers Mumba the former Vice President of Zambia as his guest to conduct the leadership summit.

Dr Nevers Mumba, a Zambian Politicians and a Religion Minister who served as Vice President of Zambia from 2003 to 2004 under levy mwanawasa as opposition leader for the Movement For Multi-party Democracy(MMD), who has been doing God’s work as a minister of God for more than 40 years was welcome to Nigeria on Tuesday 18th February 2020 by Bishop Isaac Idahosa, his entourage and Gentlemen and Women of the Press.

In his interview while at the Airport during his Arrival to Nigeria, said he is here in Nigeria to celebrate the 55th birthday of bishop Idahosa, to congratulate him and thank God for His faithfulness upon his life and his ministry, though apologizes for his absent during the actual date of his birthday. He is also here to conduct Leadership Summit in his ministry.

Relating the relationship between Nigeria and his country (Zambia) as very cordial, very proud of the relationship, explaining that Nigeria and Zambia was in a forefront for the emancipation of South Africa, in the forefront in making sure that the Southern tip of Africa was liberated. “Anytime I come to Nigeria I feel a liberation spirit, I always go back home energized and I try to do whatever I can to make contact with Government officials while am here, it’s my honor to be here and Nigeria is like my second home, I like Nigeria”, Nevers Mumba added.

As a Political and Religious Leaders, advises that we should be serious when it comes to the process of electing leaders. The leaders we put in power to govern the people must be men and women of morality and integrity.

He noted that the challenges we have in Africa is the process to get a quality leaders and asking believers not to shy away from participating in the process of moral politics that will make our continent a better place to be. The morality of it, is if we don’t bring our Christian values into the political arena, don’t expect miracles from people who have never confess faithfulness to God and faithfulness to any values even if pastors does not participate in politics but encourages his membership to be actively involved in the processes of this continents.

Nevers however said that he is still an active politician and has not surrender his MMD faction to anyone as he is running for a presidential position next year.

The host, Idahosa urged leaders everywhere in the world to be a part of the Leadership Summit to be train on how to be a leader of Integrity, Character and Excellence because to do more is to know more. “We can’t progress until God finds His place in His place and leadership begins to be responsible for their roles in lifting the downfall of their nations”, he said.
