CKN News Publisher, Chris Kehinde Nwandu Empowers 14 Widows In His Home Town, Obowo, Imo State (Photos)

Weeks after been conferred with a Chieftaincy title, OKWURU OHA, which enables him to act as the mouth piece of his people, the publisher of widely read online news platform, CKN News, Chris Kehinde Nwandu has once again shown his kind side, with the empowerment of 14 widows in his place of birth, Obowo, in Imo State.

The annual empowerment Programme which has been held in Lagos for five consecutive years, was finally taken to his home town, which according to him, house quiet a number of widows. In a press statement issues out last night, CKN while thanking donors, wish he had all the resources, to cater for more widows; “They’re the poorest of the poor.Many cannot even afford a cup of rice this season. How I wish I have all the resources in the world.”

“I could only reach out to 14 of them,2 from each of the seven villages ,strictly recommended by the Chairmen of their town unions. For all that contributed ,the prayers of the widows are with you. Their prayers have gotten to our creator,you will never lack in Jesus name. I almost skipped it this year but some of you insisted we must get it done no matter how little. God bless you all” The OKWURU OHA prayed.
