NYCN Europe Chapter Appoints Tarela Aghanti As First UK Ambassador

Tarela Aghanti has been announced and presented with a letter of appointment, appointing her as the First UK Ambassador for the National Youth Council of Nigeria Europe Chapter.


Tarela who is the Founder of the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation Nigeria and Network UK said she is truly humbled to be appointed as the first UK Ambassador of the National Youth Council of Nigeria that will oversee all Nigerian youth across the UK and its soundings. As most of her work surrounds people with disability, her recommendable work goes beyond just Nigeria but across Africa as a whole.

My priorities are to continuously be an inspiring voice to many young people who need their voices heard and support Nigerian youth across the UK, Wales, and Ireland,” she stated.

The National Youth Council of Nigeria was established in 1964 and given legal recognition in 1990, It is the umbrella body and the mouthpiece of the Nigerian Youths and is charged with the responsibility of policy formulation and implementation on issues relating to youth development in Nigeria which she hopes to promote and advance using her current position in the advancement of this policy as the organisation provides a platform for development, advancement, promotion of peace, unity and tolerance among all youth.

Tarela Aghanti expresses her gratitude first, to God and the Governor of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Europe Chapter, Mr Collins Idahosa for his support and trust in her ability.
