2023: Fayemi, Amosun, Others Refuse To Step Down As South-West APC Presidential Aspirants Meet In Lagos

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, a former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, and Governor Kayode Fayemi have arrived are currently attending a meeting.

The meeting which was called by Chief Bisi Akande and Chief Olusegun Osoba also had the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in attendance.

The National Secretary of the APC, Senator Iyiola Omisore, is also at the meeting. However, as of 6.30pm, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Lagos preacher, Tunde Bakare, had yet to arrive.

The meeting is expected to foster unity in the South-West and reduce the number of presidential aspirants in the region which currently stands at seven.
