4 Police, 4 Civilians Killed, Transit Buses Burnt, As IPOB Enforces Sit At Home Order In South-East

Not less than eight people have lost their lives in the South East, while observing the sit at home order by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra.

According to reports, four uniform men and four civilian, was said to have been attacked and killed by members of the Pro-Biafran group.

For instance, a police formation was said to have been attacked in Nnewi area of Anambra State, while some transit buses were also set ablazed with passengers burnt to ashes.

The police confirmed some of this attacks and also hinted on the details of the attack on his officers, which was carried out as a revenge, after some military killed two members of IPOB.

Meanwhile, there was total compliance to the sit at home home order in the whole of South Easts areas as business activities were totally shut down. The IPOB has vowed that the Mondays protest will continue until their embattled leader, Nnamdi Kanu is released by the Nigerian government from detention.
