Chris Brown has been arrested by French Police in Paris after a woman accused him of raping her in a Paris hotel.
A 24-year-old woman alleged that Brown raped her on the evening of January 15 at a hotel in the French capital.
It was initially reported that the singer was under investigation for rape.
Following the investigation, Chris Brown, his bodyguard and a friend were all detained on Monday and are in custody after the 24-year-old woman filed a rape complaint.
Chris and two others detained with him are reportedly still in custody today, Tuesday, while police study the complaint.
A prosecuting source said:
He is accused of a rape and is being held at the judicial police offices in the 1st arrondissement.
He was arrested with two others on Monday, and interviews and other enquiries are ongoing. The offence is said to have taken place on the night of January 15 this year.
The French edition of Closer magazine reported that the woman had accused Brown of raping her at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
She said she met Brown at Le Crystal, a nightclub close to the Champs Elysee, and then returned to his hotel with other women and a total of three men.

The woman claimed that Chris Brown had invited her to the hotel and when they were left alone together, he attacked her.
She also accused Chris Brown’s bodyguard and another friend of the singer of abusing her.
Paris prosecutors now have the option of releasing Brown and his associates, or opening a criminal investigation, according to Daily Mail.
