Amaechi, Okonkwo, Olayinka Make Arsenal’s Tour To UAE

English Premier League giants, Arsenal have added Nigerian born starlets Xavier Amaechi, Arthur Okonkwo and James Olayinka to their 23-man squad for a tour of United Arab Emirates.

The trio were named among the squad that left for UAE in a short tour, that is expected to see the Gunners face Al-Nasr Dubai SC at the Al Maktoum Stadium.

Amaechi revolves his game around movement. Commonly referred to as the ‘raumdeuter’ role, you will often see him picking out little gaps of space and utilising them to his advantage.

Olayinka is very quick, so he can afford to give defenders the extra yard, before pouncing on through balls.

Goalkeeper Okonkwo has caught the eye with his sharp reflexes for the Gunners’ youth sides.

Several first team players of Arsenal went on international duty, including Alex Iwobi, Aaron Ramsey, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and another Nigerian born starlet, Bukayo Saka,
