The Academic Staff Union of Universities and the Federal Government of Nigeria are likely to resolved the five months old strike within two to three weeks if consensus is being reached by stakeholders according to the presidency today Wednesday, 20, July 2022.
The Presidency disclosed that The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu decide to settle the Strike within two or three weeks which negate the president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari pressurization.
A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and publicity, Garba Shehu was released today on the matter.
The statement was captioned ‘On University Strikes, government is ready for business.’
