Bianca Ojukwu has reiterated her commitment to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), confirming that she remains a member of the party despite her recent appointment as a minister by President Bola Tinubu.
This affirmation was made by APGA National Chairman, Sly Ezeokenwa, in an interview on Channels Television on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Ezeokenwa expressed gratitude for the ministerial appointment, saying, “I commend the president for that appointment. Bianca Ojukwu remains a loyal member of APGA. She is still part of the party’s Board of Trustees and has not resigned her membership. Her appointment was secured as an APGA member.”
He further stated that the party fully supported Ojukwu’s decision to accept the ministerial position, viewing it as a chance for the opposition to contribute meaningfully to the country’s governance.
Ezeokenwa also praised President Tinubu’s inclusive approach, advocating for cross-party collaboration within his administration.
Bianca Ojukwu, 56, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, currently serves as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
