Bishop Benjamin Urges Buhari To Take A Peep Into Jonathan’s 2014 Confab Or Call For Another One

The leader and founder of Resurrection Praise ministry, Arch-Bishop Benjamin Mustapha while proferring solutions to the problems of Nigerians has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to look into the 2014 National Conference organized by his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan. He offered the advice on Sunday, while wearing a sack cloth in protest against bad governance.

According to the outspoken Prophet, the way of out of all the challenges confronting the nation could be right there in paper; In his words, “The reasons why there are too many cry for division is because, may feel they are not been treated fairly. there are too many injustice, if I am to advice, I will say, there’s already a national conference on the table, towards the end of Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan”.

“Most of the people that are in the ruling party, all attended the conference, if they do not want to apply the one on that paper, they can call for another national conference, from the North, from the South, from the East and West. Its unfortunate, that Nigeria is a country, where everything the people are concern about is money, when you call people for a national conference, you have got to put some money in their pocket, etc”.

He continues, ” But the good thing is; there are still good people in Nigeria, people who are ready to use their personal resources towards seeing Nigeria getting out of this mess, our situation is very bad, many Nigerians with strong integrity was part of that conference, people with strong love for Nigeria, the report that some section of the country was not duly carry along in the conference is all lies, the papers are there, let them bring it out and let us see”.

“Infact, one of my close friends who was part of the CONFAB, although, I was not part of the delegates, but I have lot of friends who were, and I can tell you that the Northerners was duly represented, you will agree with me, that Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan was not a partial leader, I am not promoting him, but we are talking about solution.” On 2023, he slams politicians already talking about Presidency, and urge them to first look into the killing, hunger and hardship been faced by Nigerians.

“Right now, Nigerians is in a serious trouble, talking about 2023 from now, is misplacing our priorities. The truth is people are hungry, parents can not pay school fees, people are suffering, there’s so much hardship in the country. The government should narrow down it’s activities to strengthen people out of this troubles and stop talking about 2023, that is miles away from here. What they do now will determine who comes into power in 2023, except if they are saying the elections are not going to be fair and credible. So for you to start asking me, who do I think should be President in 2023, I will be like them, if I give you an answer, and I won’t do that”.
