Boeing 737: 11 Injured as Plane Skids Off Runway During Take-off

In the early hours of Thursday, a Boeing 737-300 aircraft encountered a critical incident at Dakar’s Blaise Diagne International Airport. The plane, which was scheduled to depart for Bamako, Mali, veered off the runway during its take-off sequence.

Eyewitnesses report that the aircraft’s left wing and engine were engulfed in flames shortly after the mishap. Emergency response teams were quick to the scene, facilitating the evacuation of all 73 passengers aboard the flight. Despite the swift rescue efforts, 11 individuals sustained injuries, with 4 in serious condition, including the pilot who suffered minor injuries.
