Breaking News: Police barred Journalists from covering Naira Marley’s Court trial

Press men on Wednesday were barred from covering the trial of Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola popularly known Naira Marley. Recall that the singer was among the attendees of the Funke Akindele house party which caused the later and her husband to be sentenced on of days community service with fine of #100,000 each.

Lagos State Government Charged the musician before the Lagos Magistrates’ Court in Ogba on breaching the social distance order.

Journalists in quest to cover the ongoing case in the court are currently locked outside the court gate. A policeman, Suumonu Kazeem, ordered the gates of the court shut against journalists. He said he was acting an order from above.
