BREAKING: Adamu, Omisore Resigns From APC As National Chairman, Secretary, Party Reacts

Senator Abdullahi Adamu, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has tendered his resignation, according to the NWC.

Senator Iyiola Omisore, the party’s national secretary, also announced his resignation, according to the party’s interim national chairman, Senator Abubakar Kyari, who also confirmed Adamu’s resignation.

He stated that he will serve in the capacity of chairman while Barrister Festus Fuanter, the deputy national secretary, serves in the capacity of secretary.

The National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) sessions scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday were also postponed during the meeting.

Only National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka and the National Women Leader Dr. Betta Edu were not present despite having received permission to be absent from the committee’s seventeen members.
