Buhari Meets Governors, Stakeholders Over Rising Food Prices

Amidst the rampart news on inflation in the country, President Muhammad Buhari is currently holding a meeting with some critical stakeholders over the rising price of food in the country.

The stakeholders, including six state governors, are members of the National Food Security Council.

According to reports, the meeting is holding inside the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Those attending the meeting include the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.); and some ministers among others.

Governors attending the meeting are Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the council; Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa; Simon Lalong of Plateau; Darius Ishaku of Taraba; and Dave Umahi of Ebonyi.
