It should be noted that the visit of the medical personnel has incepted alot of controversy among medical professionals in Nigeria as majority negate the invitation of the Chinese Doctors. Liao has however noted that the personnel are with their equipment to treat CCECC workers in Nigeria.
He said:
“The primary purpose of the team is to provide CCECC employees with critical and necessary healthcare assistance. They are also coming with adequate personal protective equipment and medical items for the employees.”
Speaking on their status on the pandemic, he said, “All members of the working team have tested negative for COVID-19 and shall commence their stay in Nigeria by spending 14 days in quarantine.”
