Edo Decides: My Hands are clean, I don’t do vote buying – Oshiomole declares

Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, has rejected allegations of vote-buying against the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the Edo election.

Speaking to reporters after voting in Iyamho, he described the claims as absurd and unfounded.

Oshiomhole emphasized that voters turned out in large numbers due to their desire for effective governance, not financial incentives.

He highlighted his past accomplishments as governor, stating that the positive developments from his administration remain evident, unlike those introduced by the current government, which he claims have quickly deteriorated.

He asserted that constituents have expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of government presence in their communities since his departure from office.

Oshiomhole’s remarks aim to reinforce the APC’s commitment to genuine public service amidst ongoing election scrutiny.
