EFCC Arrests Cubana Chief Priest Over Naira Abuse

Popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, was reportedly arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. The EFCC alleges Cubana Chief Priest is involved in Naira abuse, though the exact nature of the accusations remains undisclosed.

According to Punch Newspapers, Cubana Chief Priest is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow, April 17th, 2024. The arraignment will take place before the Federal High Court in Lagos on a three-count charge of allegedly spraying and tampering with Naira notes at a social event, which violates the Central Bank Act of 2007.
