EYP To Host Town Hall programme Towards 2023 Elections

All plans have been concluded to host the maiden edition of EYP Town Hall programme, towards mobilising community engagement and involvement towards the 2023 elections.

The civic enlightenment programme according to the Chairman of the Estate Youth Parliament, Mr Yusuf Adeyemi, is critical to the emergence of credible leadership via the active participation of the Nigerian populace.

“We feel Nigeria is at a critical time and there’s a need to enlighten the peolle on the importance of electing leaders without being forced or coerced to doing so”.

In his views Mr Adeyemi says: “Nigeria has a ling history of misrepresentation at most level of governance, and its vital the electorates are informed of their rights and expected roles during the 2023 general elections. Its another opportunity for Nigeria and Nigerians to set the natikn on the part of prosperity.”

The organisers reveal that discussions at the event would be centred on three topics: 1. Understanding My Role As A Stakeholder(with Dr Olatunde Olusunmade) former vice-chairman of Ejigbo LCDA as discissant.

The second topic is; My Vote:My Power To Change The Political Narratives, with Feyikemi Fabiyi(Lagos State Coordinator) of Not To Young To Run. While, political analyst Mr Solomon Ijaoba, is the discissant for the third topic; Electoral Value:A Pertinent Tool For Societal Development.

The civic responsibility enlightenment programme is schedule to hold on Saturday, 26th November, by 3pm at Nepa Junction, Jakande Estate, Oke-Afa, Isolo.

The organisers stress that the event, is intended to be an avenue for awareness creation.

“We intend to use the avenue as an awareness creation for the voting of the right people into power, for ths betterment and development of Nigeria at all levels of governance.
