Ahead of the gubernatorial election coming up today, Saturday, July 14, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has become a circumstantial man of God praying for the success of his deputy governor, Olusola Eleka, the PDP governorship candidate in the election.
Governor Fayose, in a new Instagram video, is seen praying for Eleka who knelt down before him while some ‘congregants’ chosrused amen.
In the name of Jesus!
Amen!
Lord, God of heavens!
I pray, I pray by the grace of living Jesus
To be the leader of this state today,
I commit into your hands, Lord Jesus Christ
Kolapo Olusola, receive power to succeed me In Jesus name!
Amen!
They have come together to destroy the votes
They have come together to cause confusion
They have come from everywhere….
“Tomorrow, before the nightfall
In the name of Jesus, you will be declared
Amen!
You will be declared
Amen!
In the name of Jesus!
Amen!,” Fayose prayed with a pastor-like spiritual strength.
Meanwhile, a Source had previously reported that ahead of the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti state, civil servants on Friday, July 13, allegedly started receiving cash deposit alert of N3,000 as a stipend from the Ekiti state government.
According to a Twitter user identified as @cbngov_Akin1 and another Facebook user, Maiyegun’s Diary Live, Governor Fayose allegedly credited the account of workers in the state, to encourage them to vote in Saturday’s elections.
It was also alleged that Fayose last paid Ekiti state civil servants their salaries in December 2017.
