FG Declares October 1st Public Holiday

The Federal government has declared Monday, October 1st, as public holiday to commemorate Nigeria’s 58th Independence Anniversary. The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, made this known in a statement released today Thursday September 27th.

The Minister congratulated Nigerians on the anniversary and urged them to sustain President Buhari administration’s efforts at maintaining and strengthening the unity and peace of the country.
