Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of New Tribe Advocate, Mrs. Ireti Akinrowo Ojekhoha as Special Adviser on Concepts and Innovation in the state.
The graduate of English from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife with also made the announcement on her social media pages. In a series of photos shared on Facebook, Mrs Ojekhoha while stating she has always been behind the scene working for Kogi government, said this is just a call for her to do more.
She promised to give her best towards the development of humanity in the state, adding that her years of experience as a journalist and grassroot mobilizer will help her in the discharge of her duties. Her new office will enable her to create ideas and programmes that will move the administration of Governor Bello to the next level.
“My role is to create concepts and ideas that will popularise the great transformational work Governor Bello is doing in Kogi State to the people of the state and Nigerians in general. I appreciate his Excellency for this opportunity to serve. I will work hard and diligently to justify the confidence he reposed in me,” the Ondo State-born new appointee said.
The governor commends her bravery and efforts, while urging her to continue to be the best. Mrs Akinrowo Ojekhoha is happily married with grown up kids, who are also making impact in their various chosen fields.
