Honour Bestowed On Sonnia Agu As She Becomes ECOWAS Ambassador

Social entrepreneur and founder /CEO G1st International Foundation and The Sapio club, Lagos State Nigeria Ambassador Sonnia Agu has proven to be a source of inspiration for women in Africa.

The new Ecowas Youth Ambassador of who just returned from Egypt for the world youth forum where she was choosing from Nigeria by the Egypt president to represent her country is however set to take African women whom she is now represesnting to the next level.

On the ambassadorship that was given to her, the organizer stated why she was given the ambassador“The award is a move to encourage young West-Africans who are doing well in their respective works to do more has before now given to other Nigerians like Kingsley Moghalu, the political economist who was the presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) to the 2019 presidential election, Mrs. Juliet Ibekaku-Nwagwu, the special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Justice Reform and many more Nigerians doing well in their respective field of work”

Furthermore, Ambassador Sonia was recognized and given the ambassadorship base on her recognition of her unsurpassed administrative leadership performance, great effort for students and youth empowerment and development to young female leaders and entrepreneur.

Speaking on the ambassadorship that was bestowed on her, Agu stated that this will make her do more in what she is well known for, “What can I say than to double up and do more, because now a lot will be expected from me and I need to live up to expectations”
