Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has declared that he will leave office without fear of any legal pursuit, including from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Speaking at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, after the Feast of Christ the King Mass, Uzodimma reaffirmed his commitment to the state’s development, stating that he has fulfilled his promises to the people of Imo and his covenant with God.
He confidently challenged anyone with evidence of wrongdoing on his part to come forward, asserting, “I will leave office a free man, sleep peacefully, and not be afraid of anyone, including the EFCC.”
The governor expressed pride in the progress made under his administration, citing improvements in infrastructure and his focus on building a prosperous future for the state.
