In brief, What President Buhari Will be Telling Nigerians in his Address Today

It is no longer news that, President Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing Nigerians today, this was disclosed by his media aides yesterday, although details of what the President will be addressing was not made known, I have been able to put together in brief a few things Mr President might be addressing.

I know for a fact, President Buhari will speak on June 12, which is a significant in the history of Nigeria. A day that has been set aside to celebrate late Moshood Kashimawo Abiola MKO, who was killed in 1996 by the then led Sani Abacha military government, after the late Yoruba leader was denied an election which he practically won.

Before Muhammadu Buhari became Nigeria’s President, Late Abiola was never recognize as an Ex-Nigerian President, under his administration, he was able to honor the Abiola’s family and acknowledge the June 12 election, thereby making late MKO a former Democratic President.

Another important things Buhari will be addressing today is the ravaging Coronavirus pandemic. Recall, that the Federal government had earlier announced the shutting down of activities in the country, until few weeks ago when it was gradually easing down the lockdown. So Mr President will definitely touch this areas, this and other burning issues would be touched today by the Nigerian leader.
