The dust that was raised by the invitation of KWAM, king wasiu Ayinde Marshall by Israel Oladele Ogundipe the shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ, Genesis Parish, still generating controversy
Prophet Oladele Ogundipe stirred up the controversy when he invited the Fuji musician to the church harvest weeks back, a decision that received a lot of knock.
The recent bash came from Apostle Segun Oseni the leader of Cherubim & Seraphim Leadership in Christ Ministry who was bitter about the whole situation
“I think what he (Genesis) needs is old father guidance to check him, I think there is a need for it in church. Because I don’t know what he is trying to preach or do by inviting a secular and Fuji artiste to come and play in a church harvest? Harvest is a symbolic thing in a Bible, given thanks to God to appreciate for what he has done and to ask for new thing, it’s biblical.
So I don’t know what significant invitation wasiu Ayinde Marshall brought to the harvest. If he has come to give testimony on his encounter with Jesus that would have been gospel to add value to the body of Christ .The harvest to thank God for what he has done that is another thing, but he had come to repeat the same song he has used to praise men to make money praising people and Genesis was prostrating for him.
It is very disgusting seen the alter of God, turning to entertainment and event center, and this is a place that supposed to be statuary, Temple or synagogue of God. What value is Wasiu Ayinde Marshall going to add to Christ? He was there purely for business to make his money and not advertised Jesus. Are you telling me that the hymn or gospel of choir that day was not enough?”
Speaking further, the respected man of God, gives example of such a thing in the holy Bible where Jesus sent out people who are buying and selling
“Jesus Christ in the Bible Matthew 21/12 chased out people who are buying and selling in the house of God. He said “my father’s house shall be called a house of prayer”. We all saw what happened in redeem church when a pastor invited Pasuma to a church program and he was sacked. What are we saying here? This is a church that has a lot of youth as a follower and every mistake of a leader is seen to be a correct step for every follower”
He however, stated that he was not critical of the man for a personal reason
” No, I am not attacking him on a personal issue ,is just for him to adjust himself, we are talking about holiness here and the responsibility of a prophet I have once ministered on that pulpit, that was in 2017, Feb 14 a couple event for Val event, so you could see where I am driving at. This is not a religion fight but a check”
