In a groundbreaking development, the Kaduna State House of Assembly has recommended the prosecution of Nasir el-Rufai, the former governor of the state. The allegations against el-Rufai include abuse of office and money laundering during his tenure.
The ad-hoc committee, led by Henry Zacharia, conducted an extensive investigation into the matter.
