Kaduna State: Remain at your current location or be ready to be quarantined

Sequel to the conversion of the National Youth Service ervice Corp (NYSC) orientation camp located along the Abuja-Kaduna highway to a quarantine center, Kaduna state government through its Deputy governor, Hadiza Balarabe warned unauthorized citizens to either ignore traveling to the state or be ready to remain in Isolation for 14 days upon traveling to the state.

This statement was made during an inspection visit to the facility on Thursday along with members of the state COVID-19 task force.

Balarabe noted that the facility would be used to quarantine travelers entering the state during the lockdown as part of the precedures to mitigate the spread of the virus.

She further added that similar facilities have been incepted in all the seventeen entry points into the state.

However, she has reacted to the allegation of some security operatives collecting bribes from unauthorized vehicles in order to grant the access into the state.

The Deputy governor said concerned authority have began investigation and offenders would be brought to justice.
