Kidnapped Children of Kaduna Judge Regain Freedom

After spending about 15 days in captivity, terrorists have released the kidnapped children of a Kaduna State Judge, Janet Galadima. The children were abducted along with their mother, who serves as a judge in the Upper Customary Court in Kaduna Tragically, the eldest son, 14-year-old Victor, lost his life during the abduction.

The good news is that the terrorists have now released the children, but three of them are still being held by the abductors. The kidnappers are demanding a ransom of N150 million for the remaining children and have threatened to harm them if the ransom is not paid within three days.

While the Police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the children’s release, the Chairman of the Kaduna State Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the family during this harrowing ordeal.

We continue to hope for the swift and safe return of the remaining children and for justice to be served.
