Kwankwaso Will Cut Down The Cost Of Governance When He Takes Over Power In 2023 – Says NNPP VP, Idahosa

Vice presidential candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Dr. Isaac Idahosa has revealed that one of the things his leader will first get iron out next year is cutting down on governance. Idahosa made this revelation while speaking at a public function yesterday in Lagos. Speaking at the “Get It Right” event, an initiative of Triumphant Global Network INC, a not for profit organization, network of clergies and group of Christians in politics, Idahosa while describing Kwankwaso as a dependable leader and a choice Nigerians need to get it right in the coming year, said, their administration is going to be for the benefit of every Nigerian, adding that, they are going to replicate what Kwankwaso did in Kano, when they assume office in 2022.

“With a robust antecedent as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, between 2015 and 2019, a two-term governor from 1999 to 2003 and 2011 to 2015 and Minister of Defense between 2003 and 2007, it becomes clear that His Excellency Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso brings to the fore experience that those on the ticket of other parties cannot boast of.

“Asides being an excellent administrator, Kwankwaso is also a great talent spotter, so you can be rest assured that as president of the federal republic of Nigeria, His Excellency will galvanize the best brains both from home and internationally to turn Nigeria’s economy around for good.

“As governor, he met at least $200m debt from his predecessor, and ensured he paid off all debts and it is more to note, that he did not borrow a dime, in spite of the numerous legacy projects he carried out in Kano State.

“Our administration will replicate the many successes of His Excellency Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in Kano across Nigeria. He shall make sure we revamp the economy, block all loop holes from where monies are being syphoned abroad.

“We shall ensure human capital development and education are revamped. Under our administration, be rest assured ASUU strike will never have to exist again. A lot of investment will go into our healthcare, and we shall become a medical tourism nation. Even our armed forces will be well catered for, and armory procurement is well checkmated. There must accountability and audit must be in place at all levels of government and government,” he highlighted.

Enlightening the press on the significance of the red cap that members of the NNPP are renowned for, Bishop Idahosa explained that it “…symbolizes ‘trust’, adopted by the Kwanwasiya Movement, a support group to NNPP, founded by my principal, taking after the Legendary Aminu Kano of blessed memory. He was a man of the Talakawas to the core. When you identify with the poor, give them food, and send their children to school both locally and abroad like Kwankwaso did in the North, there is bound to be absolute peace in Kano, and this will be replicated across the nation.” He submitted.

Bishop Idahosa also expressed confidence in readiness of INEC, Nigeria’s electoral umpire in conducting a free and fair election in 2023.
