A Lagos based journalist, Precious Ezeh, has accused Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo of lying about her age. The mother of one, had taken to her social media pages to celebrate birthday, claiming she is forty years old. Another social media user, also confirmed the journalist’s claiming, according to her, Uche reduced her age considerably., “See ehen, I agree with Precious on this one. Uche is way above 40. Years ago at Eko Hotels and Suites where we went to cover an event, I remember this topic came up and someone who knew her from her town and compound told us that she had cut her age down considerably. Another lady, a journalist and a friend also corroborated the statement. She is among those women who reduce their ages. Make she dey fool herself nah. Hey, if it makes her happy.”
A visit to Uche’s wikipedia shows, the actress who ventured into the Nigerian movie industry in 1999 was born on December 28, 1979 in Abiriba, Abia State, Nigeria. She is a graduate of Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Calabar, and Computer Programming from the Federal University of Technology Minna.
