Lockdown Has No Ending Date- Presidency

President Muhammadu Buhari through his spokeman, Garba Shehu has advised Nigerians to acknowledge the impact of the social distancing directives as they observe the Easter celebration. The presidency also noted that lockdown is yet to have an ending date as that would be defined by scientific Scholars.

The President also addressed the need to assist Citizens in the pandemic and the government is trying it best to help the country fight the sting of the virus.

President Buhari implored Citizens to adhere to all safety precautions attached to Coronavirus, and listen to the mass media for updates and available supports from the government.

The President also stressed the need for Nigerians to acknowledge that the virus is a global problem and the only solution available is self protection. “No one is coming to defeat this virus for us. Instead, the defeat of the virus in our country will be in our hands, alone.” he said.

The President urge Nigerians to accept the restrictions despite it unintentional consequences and prayed victory mount the country’s crust in the end.
