It’s no longer news that, one of Nigeria’s long standing and widely read online newspaper, Metro News is to hold ten years of news publishing.
As the widely publicized event will be going down tonight in the city of Lagos, Zebra News decided to remind intending guests what to expect;
- A New Movie Premiere
The publisher of Metro News, Femi Davies last month hinted that the night will witness the premiere of a new movie, although he didn’t give details of the movie, he said guests will get rare opportunity of seeing the movie before it is release to the public.
- Launch of Metro News print edition.
In a statement signed and release to the media, Femi Davies also revealed that, for the first time in ten years, Metro News will be going on print, and the first edition will be unveil at the event.
- More than 30 Nigerians will bag special recognition award.
As a way of showing appreciation and encouraging great talents, hard-work and creativity in major sector. Outstanding individuals and organizations who have made a mark in the last ten years will be recognize for their contribution towards the development of the media space and the country at large with their various fields.
- The event which is currently a talk of the town event will hold at the Radisson Blu, Isaac Jones, GRA, Ikeja Lagos.
The event will be taking place at Radisson Blu. Red carpet Start 7pm, while event proper starts immediately after the red carpet paparazzi.
- Major media executives, movie and music personalities, including other notable Nigerians will grace the occasion.
Lastly but not the least, big names from different sector of the society will be attending the event. Industries include, politics, entertainment, sport, business etc.
