…Targets Youths and Senior citizens in Mushin Local Government.

The winner of Mr. Nigeria International 2021, Mushin born Emmanuel Odunayo Ajewole, has presented his proposed development programme tagged “MNII 2022” , to the Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye.

The programme which is part of his contributions to his community, is aimed at developing youths and sensitizing the elderly towards paying attention to their health.

While addressing the Executive chairman and some members of the council management at the chairman’s office, the handsome and elegant looking Mushin bred macho man, was empathic on the high mortality rate caused by avoidable health challenges in the society.

In his statement, he confirmed that he lost his mum at the tender age of 2 years. Despite her level of education as a School Principal, she didn’t pay attention to her health. Unknown to his mother, she had developed high blood pressure without any symptoms, which caused her to slump and died untimely at an early age in life. With this experience, Odunayo decided to embark on health sensitization campaign, for senior citizens and the aged in his health programme for the people of Mushin community.

The programme which will cover various life saving and transforming activities, focusses on youth between the ages of 17 – 30 years while the health advocacy campaign targets people from the age of 45 years and above. He also plans to visit some prisons across Lagos State.

In his response, the Executive Chairman, applauded Udunayo for his initiative and pledged his support for the programme. He assured him of maximum cooperation and advised him to use his position to attract support from various Government and Non-governmental Organizations towards transforming and developing our youths in Mushin community.

The beauty pageant winner finally presented a picture frame to the chairman and promised to make Mushin proud as he has also been nominated for other notable distinguished honourary awards.

Notable party leaders like Pa Oguntoyinbo, Alhaja Mustapha (APC Woman Leader), Alhaja Surakat (former APC Woman Leader) and other party members.
