Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has welcomed back Governor Aminu Tambuwal to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
It was reported that Tambuwal had announced his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP.
He made known his exit from the party on Wednesday at a press conference in the Government House, Sokoto.
Reacting to the defection on Twitter, Bruce welcomed him to PDP.
He wrote: “Welcome home to the @OfficialPDPNig, my good friend @AWTambuwal.
“Finally, the deck is taking shape and together, we will return power to the #Nigerian people come 2019.”
