A Bayelsa State High Court judge has ordered the arrest of Former Governor Of Bayelsa’s Aide, John Idumange over N3bn fraud allegation.
John who was Seriake Dickson’s aide on Research and Documentation as well as Social Media, was also the General Manager of the State Broadcasting Corporation.
Idumange is standing trial for accusing some government officials of stealing the sum of N3bn agriculture loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria allocated to the state.
The defence counsel, Ebikebuna Aluzu, had told the court that the defendant had an accident on his way to court, but the judge insisted that he must be produced in court on the next adjourned date. The judge, however, adjourned the case till July 26.
