The Akwa Ibom State chapter chairman of Rescue Nigeria Youth Foundation (RNYF) have supported the call by it national president High Chief Navy Stephen for the immediate removal of the Sole Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) because the Administrator have outlived his sense of responsibility, usefulness and leadership whose service-driven is for private individuals not for the good people of the Niger Delta Region and it is pertinent to relief him forthwith at the agency. Hence the need for urgent restocking of the agency with fresh and seasoned technocrats and administrators to collectively drive the sole aim of purposeful leadership and consolidated organization for the general well-being of the Niger Deltans and visionary policies geared towards ameliorating the plights of the youths in the region.
This remains the only way of removing the blockage of clogs on the wheel of progression of the Agency.
The chapter chairman, comrade Edidiong Etop Udi further described the continuous retention of the Sole Administrator of the NDDC by the Federal Government as total jamboree, wastage of resources of undeserving, deserving Objectives of the NDDC establishment which is now driven by the sole proprietor towards serving the personal aggrandizement of the elites outside the regional base of the commission at the detriments of the generality of the good people of the Niger Delta Region.
Conversely, the most terrific self seeking evil adventure which is purportedly called ” policy of engaging 1,000 youths in each of the Niger Delta State for Empowerment” is a hoax, scam and dubious that is solely designed and mapped by the sole Administrator to fail in it entirety because there are no modalities and criteria for the beneficiaries.
Critically assessing the objectives of the youth Empowerment of the NNDC is clearly and apparently indicating in-depth that is built-in with perceived by the people of the region as corruption whereby indicating the worse fraudulent activity carried out by any NDDC in recent year.
The Akwa Ibom State chapter chairman, comrade Edidiong Etop Udi called on Nigerians to be critical in evaluating the NDDC youth empowerment programme, it operandi of registration and the obvious shortcomings in the registration process which is designed to disenfranchised million of eligible youths in the region.
The chapter chairman also call on the Senate president, His Excellency Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio ( CON) to please intervene and wade into the inexplicable dubious intention of continuous shortchanging of the Niger Delta people by the NDDC administrator and the attendance effects of such jamboree decorated in the name of youth empowerment and the effect of a diminish return on a seemingly progressive interventionist agency like the NDDC and the good people of the region.
He also called for quick intervention by all relevant stakeholders in the region to urgently support and collectively affirming the immediate removal of the NDDC sole administrator.
