NGO Fetes Less Privileged Children As Part Of Christmas Celebration [Photos]

In the spirit of the yuletide, a Non-Governmental Organization, JEO Castle of Angels, on Saturday December 21, hosted some less privileged children to mark this year’s Christmas

The convener of the event and coordinator of the NGO, Juliet Osueke, said it was part of the organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility, CRS, of giving back to the society, especially the poor, who may not have the opportunity of sharing in the fun and joy which the yuletide offers.

She said: ” I believe that this is my own contribution to the needs and desires of the less privilege children at this time of fun, merriment and joy.

The event also featured games, bouncy castles and well as gift were given to the children in the spirit of the season.

She also explained that even though, it might be tough running the NGO, she however called on both government and corporate organizations to support the effort of the organisation in order to mitigate the sufferings of the less privilege

According to her, some of the main objectives of the NGO, is to enhance the educational, social, spiritual and mental consciousness in the less privilege children towards a better moral excellence, so as to raise a sound and complete child.

Among other goals which the NGO aims to achieve, are to attain the peak in global humanitarian services, and services include organising training, workshops, seminars, healthy competitions among others.
