…Ilu Tigbo finally get an Oba After 11 years

History was finally made on Saturday, 15th of August, 2020 when Oba Victor Olabode Thomas- Fagbayi was appointed the new Onitigbo of Tigbo, ilu Tigbo Otta in Awori land Ogun state
The flamboyant historical was stamped after the executive council meeting finally endorsed Oba Victor Olabode Thomas- Fagbayi as the new king of the ancient town, the appointment came 11 years after a lot of issues which made the town to be without a ruler, so it was with ecstasy and joy as the people troop out to celebrate the historical day.
Having been approved as the oba on Saturday, 15th of August,2020, the kabiyesi Onitigbo of Tigbo Oba Victor Olabode Thomas- Fagbayi danced round into town to get known to his subject
The jamboree like event which commenced from Ilogbo junction also saw the presence of Kabiyesi old student Union, State High School (Tagged Buddies 88) who were fully represented by high figure at the event
The event which is christened ” Oba Bode Wolu” will forever remain in the history of the town as the town was painted in different colour to showcase their happiness and clatter.
” We give thanks to God and to Ogun state government for this historical event , it is what we have been waiting and praying for you , for over a decade and for this to finally come to pass is wonderful” an older man told this reporter
One thing that was very visible during the parade was the harmonious of the town which they displayed to the gallery having been denied a ruler for years
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Oba will be presented the staff of office and the crown tomorrow Friday, 21st, 2020
And the buddies ( SHS, Alimosho 88, set, together with his some of his friends) have concluded plans to storm the ancient town of Ilu Tigbo Otta in Awori land, Ogun state to give all their support to their Kabiyesi Oba Victor Olabode Thomas- Fagbayi, the Onitigbo of Tigbo.
