The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Friday dissolved his cabinet. He made the announcement at the valedictory State Executive Council meeting.

Speaking on the dissolution, Abiodun said, “I am, sadly, formally dissolving this executive council today, the 26th of May, 2023.”

Meanwhile, the governor has declared that his second term would be about good governance and people-oriented projects.

He made this declaration during a special Jumat service held at the Central Mosque, Kobiti, Abeokuta, Ogun, to usher in his second term inauguration on May 29.

He thanked the Muslim faithful in the state for their cordial relationship with other religious bodies as well as their support towards the success of his administration.

He added, “All the areas that we have yet to touch, we will touch them and make them better. We will ensure that we give the people good governance and people-oriented governance.”
