Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor finished sixth in a 100m race on Tuesday at the 2018 IAAF World Challenge in Zagreb, Croatia.
The former African sprint queen ended the race in 11.47 seconds as Cote D’Ivoire’s Marie-Jose Ta Lou came first in 11.05 seconds.
But Okagbare has another chance to recover from this setback this weekend when she runs in the 4x100m event for Africa at the IAAF Intercontinental Cup in Ostrava.
