Okunniga Seeks Peace As Ode Aye Ward 1 APC Holds Meeting

Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on New Media, Oladipupo Okunniga ( Bombay ), has expressed optimism that All Progressives Congress ( APC ), Ode Aye in Okitipupa Local Government is the darling Party of the ancient community, as he enjoined members of the party not to relent in mobilizing for more people in the town to join the ruling party.

The APC Chieftain equally charged the new leadership of his ward to brace up for the challenge of making the party to be more formidable as we approach 2023 elections. He made these charges at APC Aye ward 1 meeting held at Okerisha Quarter, in Ode Aye on Sunday.

Okunniga said he was keen to ensure peace in APC in the ward. “There’s the need for all members to work as a family to win elections”, he said.

“As a Political Party, a lot of our members are aggrieved, we need to reconcile them and that should be our primary focus, to make sure that everybody works together as a family”.

“We are consolidating on our winning party, we need everybody to upscale our activities on the way forward”, he further said.

Speaking in similar vein, a chieftain of the party from the Ward, Hon ( Chief ) Tayo Eniku declared that, “the major task ahead of Chief Ayodele Akinsowon’s leadership would be to ensure genuine reconciliation and unity of the party members across the Ward”.

“No sacrifice should be considered too big to make our Party more formidable, not only in our ward, but also the whole of Ode-Aye community” , he said.

Prominent leaders in Ward like the Ward Chairman, Chief Ayodele Akinsowon, Comrade Tunde Ayenumelo, Councilor representing the Ward, Hon Adebayo Akindele and Comrade Kehinde Sadoju expressed happiness with the large turnout of members in the meeting.

“With this impressive turnout, it is no longer in doubt where the people stand in 2023….it is a clear road map that our people have aligned with APC” , declared Ayenumelo.

Meanwhile, the party has initiated peace moves headed by Chief Tayo Eniku to reconcile aggrieved members.
