The zonal chairman of south west Comrade Kolawole Samuel on behalf of Ondo State chapter of Rescue Nigeria Youth Foundation (RNYF) have supported the call by it national president of RNYF, Chief Navy Stephen for the immediate removal of the Sole Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) due to the Administrator have showed selfish interest in discharge his basic responsibility toward Niger Delta Region and it is pertinent to relief forthwith, the sole administrator and re-stock the agency with fresh appointment of a administrator that is driven with the sole aim of collective leadership, purposeful organization for the general well-being of the Niger Delta’s and visionary policies geared towards ameliorating the plights of the youths in the region.
The zonal chairman, Comrade Kolawole Samuel has further described the continuous stating of the Sole Administrator of the NDDC by the Federal Government as total wastage and uncalled for undeserving of the deserving Objectives of the NDDC establishment which is driven towards serving the personal aggrandizement of the elites outside the regional base of the commission at the detriments of the generality of the good people of the Niger Delta Region.
The” policy of engaging 1,000 youths in each of the Niger Delta State for Empowerment” is total JAMBOREE and political halo.
The youth of the region doesn’t have confidence in his administration and have not add any benefits to the youth and the region. All act of his administration has been selfish and personal which is not in line with the youth of the region and aim of the NDDC.
The Ondo State chapter zonal chairman, comrade Kolawole Samuel called on Nigerians to be proactive in evaluating the NDDC youth empowerment programme, it aim
of registration and the disenfranchised million of eligible youths in the region.
The zonal chairman south west also call on the Senate president, His Excellency Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio ( CON) to please intervene to the region activities of shortchanging of the Niger Delta people by the NDDC administrator.
We the region has made calls for immediate removal of the NDDC sole administrator.
