Presidency Attack THE PUNCH, Says Buhari Did Not Order From Madagascar

A member of the Presidency, Tolu Ogunlesi has attacked THE PUNCH News on what he defined as clickbait, the presidential aide took to his Twitter page to define the stand of the federal government on the collection of Madagascar’s Cure to COVID-19 (COVID ORGANICS). Tolu Ogunlesi Claimed that the arrival of covid organics in Nigeria is not has a result of an order from the federal government, rather, it was based on allocation.

He said, “Worth saying again: Nigeria did not “order” the alleged Covid-19 cure from Madagascar. We got an allocation. Many other African countries did.
“We are simply picking up our allocation. And it will be subjected to standard NAFDAC procedures. No validation no use. It’s that simple,” he tweeted.

It was gathered that the PTF COVID-19 had confirmed that Buhari approved the collection of Madagascar’s reported cure as part of the process to mitigate the spread of the pandemic, Following the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire’s address on the country’s development on combating the virus so far.
