In a heartfelt address during the Eid-el-Fitr prayers in Lagos, President Bola Tinubu called upon Nigerians to sustain their patriotism and trust in his administration’s capabilities. Joining the Muslim faithful, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of the Renewed Hope Agenda, which is focused on ushering in prosperity for all citizens.
The President encouraged the Muslim community to carry forward the virtues of sacrifice and resilience beyond Ramadan, highlighting the significance of love and dedication to the nation. “We must love our country more than any other because that is the only one we have,” he stated, urging citizens to protect the integrity of the government and leadership.
Chief Imam of Lagos, Sheikh Sulaiman Oluwatoyin Abou-Nolla, in his sermon, echoed the President’s sentiments, calling for peace, non-violence, and continued faith in the country. He implored leaders to honor their oaths and strive to alleviate the hardships faced by the underprivileged.
As the nation celebrated the end of the holy month, the President’s message was clear: hope is the cornerstone of progress and life, and it is with this hope that Nigeria will move towards a brighter future.
