The city of Ondo was agog on Friday night as Queen Fadojutimi Rachael Omotola emerges the 2022 Miss Ekimogun. The glamorous event which ran all through Friday night till Saturday morning was held at the Oba Adesanoye Civic center.
The Miss Ekimogun contest which has spanned over a decade got a major boost this year with several parents encouraging their daughters to enroll. A total of sixteen contestants from the thousands of entries it recieved from interested beauty queens, participated in the pageant.
The highlight of the event was the appearance of current Mr Nigeria International, Ajewole Emmanuel Odunnayo who made a guest appearance as one of the Judges on the show.
Speaking on his involvement as a judge on the 2022 Miss Ekimogun, Ajewole Emmanuel Odunnayo said he was honored and filled privileged to have teamed up with other respected Executives and Professionals in deciding the 2022 Winner of Miss Ekimogun.
He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the organizers, particularly the Executive Director of Miss Ekimogun beauty contest, in the person of Honorable Idris Mamukuyomi, for giving him to opportunity to be a part of the Judges.
“I want to thank the entire organizing team for putting the 2022 Miss Ekimogun together, as you can see, the show keeps getting bigger and better; and I am so delighted to be a part of it, I want to offer my profound gratitude to Honorable Idris Mamukuyomi for finding me worthy to be a part of the judges. I consider it a privilege, especially having to work with the likes of Mrs. Ibiwunmi Akinnola, who is the Chief Judge, Mrs. Adegeye, Mr. Tolu Akinbohoun, Dr. Nelson Osungbenro. These are respected individuals who have made their mark in their chosen career. I am excited to share that stage with them”

Having gone through a rigorous process, Queen Fadojutimi Rachael Omotola was declared the winner, she was presented with a branded Miss Ekimogun car and other consolation gifts. Other winners in the contests are Akinsola Omotolani, who is the first Runnerup, Alli Boluwadiro Olowasunmisola, the second Runnerup. The 2022 Miss Ekimogun also witness top Ondo town indigenes and politicians, some of which includes, House of Representatives member, Hon. Dr. Abiola Peter Makinde, Ph.D. Representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency, Ondo State Commissioner for Art and Culture, Mr Yemi Olowolabi among others.
