It was all fun in the Ball Room of Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos on the 26th of May 2018. When over 400 families thronged the venue to attend Remi Makanjuola’s widely publicize Family Ball event, started with a welcome address by Remi Makanjuola.
The event which was hosted by popular comedian EmmaOhmyGod, was her giveaway initiative, which focuses on the positive parenting and bringing families together, addressed child abuse, raised funds for charity and community development and all sorts of family entertainment to create family bond. The ball also provide for single parent to attend with their children.
“Whatever your family is made of, the Family Ball is for you, a time to connect, engage and learn with your family in the most fun and elegant setting. “A judgment-free place where we are all important in God’s eyes. A place we can always refer to as that moment that changed the course of our family dynamics, irrespective of religious affiliation, societal class and ethic group”.
Said Remi, the beautiful mother of three who is reside in Atlanta Georgia. Highpoint of the event was the panel section, games and the music performance by reigning young-star, Queen Esther and talented Olla.
