Senator Nicholas Tofowomo, representing Ondo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, has commended the National leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the able leadership of Prince Uche Secondus over their commitment to providing a level plain ground to all the governorship aspirants of our party in Ondo State.
Tofowomo gave this commendation on Tuesday at Ileoluji, the headquarters of Ileoluji/Okeigbo Local Government Council in Ondo State.
”As a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I owe it a responsibility to commend the National leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the able leadership of Prince Uche Secondus over their commitment to providing a level plain ground to all the governorship aspirants of our party in Ondo State.”
”There is no doubt about the fact that the statement made by the National Chairman of the PDP during the reception of the deputy governor of Ondo State into our party, has cleared the air over unnecessary insinuation about a possible automatic ticket,” the Senator said.
The Ondo South Senator also used the opportunity to welcome the State deputy governor from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to the PDP.
”Let me join my voice in welcoming to the PDP, the state deputy governor, his excellency, Hon. Agboola Ajayi for joining the moving train of the PDP in Ondo State,” Tofowomo added.
